Account Payable Assistant

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk who will be responsible for handling our company's bills and managing our accounts payable ledger. You will be tasked with receiving, opening, and logging invoices on the ledger, as well as other duties like bank reconciliation, accounts payable invoice and data entry, and expense report handling. You will be responsible for keeping track of money owed to us by customers, preparing invoices and updating records

An ideal candidate must have a good understanding of payments, the accounting process, and budgeting.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc
  • Prepare, review and enter accounting entries as necessary to update the ledger.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
  • Accounting for payments to suppliers by electronic transfer.
  • Record the payment details and make the entry in the accounts or inform the accounting staff to make the necessary entries.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts associated with expenses.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Consolidation of financial statements.
  • Manage account balances to discover outstanding debts or other inconsistencies
  • Responsible for accounts payable, treasury, bank reconciliations
  • Collect cash checks against invoices receivable and make payments to suppliers

Desired Qualifications:

§ Bachelor’s degree preferred in finance, accounting.

  • 1-3 years accounts payable or general accounting experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent English is a must.

§ The applicant needs to be highly organized and should be attentive to details

§ Strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel required

Experiencia mínima de 2 años en Administración, Contabilidad y Finanzas
Inglés avanzado (Indispensable)
