Accounting Assistant

Extreme Manufacturing Peru S.A.C - Magdalena del Mar, Lima

Issue, send and track invoices, keep track of money owed by customers, and update records with new payments and customer information. Constantly sent reminders for payments to the customer service assistant in charge of recoveries.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create customer invoices
  • Responsible for keeping billing, estimating and invoicing statuses current and on track
  • Review purchase orders from projects, identify accurate use of resources to ensure all services are invoiced.
  • Process invoices to customers in a timely manner, according to policies.
  • Adhere to billing and invoicing terms per account contracts.
  • Adhere to established department processes to ensure billing efficiency.
  • General reporting on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Scan move paperwork into electronic document control.
  • Perform other billing duties as assigned.
  • Unbilled crossing with billing, reporting the closing report at the end of the month.
  • Unbilled monitoring, minutes, proformas and service orders of the divisions to which the billing takes place.
  • Prepare purchase orders requests
  • Sent instructions for Recovery billing to customer service assistant.
  • Weekly Sales reports by customers.
  • Compile monthly reports with QuickBooks

Key Requirements

  • 1-2 years relevant experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in finance, accounting, or related field
  • Industry billing experience desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent English is a must
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • General accounting experience desirable.
  • General Microsoft office skills (Excel & Word).
  • Ability to navigate multiple applications and systems.
  • Ability to analyze and process data and forms accurately.
  • Ability to follow established processes and procedures to meet deadlines.
  • Great attention to detail.
